Tablets will get better emoji support
Users using Gmail on tablets are also expected to see further improvements to the platform. According to the report, Google also plans to add better emoji support and more accessibility features to Gmail for tablet users.

All apps will be available in Unified View
In this regard, the Product Manager of Google, Nina Kamath, has said that Gmail can now be customized. She said that Gmail has changed a lot in the last 18 years and the new changes will bring helpful updates to all Gmail users, including Google Workspace. Kamath announced that to help people stay connected, we’re bringing Gmail, Chat, Services, and Meet together into one unified view.

Side panels can be hidden
Gmail users will be able to access the new view by turning on chat in Gmail and setting it up in the left panel. At the same time, Gmail users can also receive notifications of new chat and space messages through the notification bubble. Notifications will appear in the lower left corner of Gmail. Apart from this, the new design also allows the user to hide the menu side panel.
